Help us save GI payments!

Over 63 million Americans rely on Medicare. On January 1, 2024, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) enacted cuts to physician reimbursement which will reduce Medicare patients’ access to specialty care.

Gastroenterology payments have been cut by 3.37% during a time when physicians are still dealing with financial fallout caused by the pandemic. Medicare payments already fail to keep up with the increasing cost of delivering healthcare. More cuts only exacerbate that problem.

We encourage you to contact your Members of Congress and urge them to pass legislation, such as the bipartisan Preserving Seniors’ Access to Physicians Act (H.R. 6683), to reverse this dangerous cut.

Personalized messages are especially effective. Please consider adding your own personal note in the letter to Congress.

Act now!
